A certain someone we know turns 70 today. A song was song on an answering machine early this morning at 7:30 before everyone headed different directions for the day. And of course the children are plotting and scheming a family celebration on Sunday.
One of our schemings was an updated picture of the kids to load on the grandparents photo frame. Spirit week is in full swing at the school in preparation for state testing next week. 3 of the 5 were sporting KU attire, for today's spirit day activity, which made the perfect "theme" for our picture. It's been ages since we had a good picture of the entire family taken ... word on the street is that one local wards YW is working with a local photographer to do family pictures as their camp fund raiser near the end of April. Perfect! We'll be signing up for that one for sure!
