Spring Fashion Show
Diane and Elspeth both have sent the kids some new clothes of the last two weeks. I've been trying to capture as many of the outfits on film as I can... but as Daine and Elspeth can both see, I haven't captured everything. But that doesn't mean the kids aren't loving the clothing. After the third day in a row when Emily wanted to wear one of the shirts, I finally had to sneak it away to be washed. Consequently, I became the meanist mom ever...

Niece #4!

For the fourth year in a row I'm an Auntie! First Stella (sister Mary Ann), then Merryn (sister-in-law Elspeth), then Danielle (sister Mary Ann) and now Annalise (sister-in-law Elspeth)!!
Diane went out to be with Elspeth and family on Wednesday and tonight at 8:19pm EST Annalise arrived - 19 inches long and 8lbs 4oz!
We are thrilled to have a new niece and Rebecca, Emily and Sam are very excited to have a new cousin to play with and we can't wait to see pictures of her!

Kansas Day

Emily celebrated Kansas Day at preschool today and she and Sam both dressed up in their cowboy garb. Emily took hot dogs for part of their Kansas Day feast and also took our wagon, which was used in the parade around the school.
The preschool has a cover to put inside a wagon to make it into a pioneer covered wagon - it only fits a large wagon and Emily's was the only large wagon that came to school (actually I think she was the only preschooler who brought a wagon this year). And to think I almost didn't bother putting it in the car! We'll definately have to remember to take it for Sam next year.

Wiped Clean
Last week I discovered the browser we use for the internet had been wiped clean... restarted... all of our stored internet sites and sadly many of our stored user names and passwords for things like blogs, etc. gone! I intentionally use this feature of my computer because I can't and honestly don't have time to try and remember small details like my blogger user name and password... definately causes problems when you want to try and post something to the blog. But all has been found once again, so we're in business again!
