I am grateful that after four months of school ... and vacuuming up a good portion of the playground pea gravel in that time ... he now empties the contents of his shoes into the trash can instead of in the middle of the living room carpet.
But can you image walking home with that much crud in bottom of you shoe?! Maybe some of the other mom's and I should start a pea gravel recovery program.

same thing with Preston! I measured once, 1/2c of sand between two shoes. How does he manage to walk around like that? would drive me crazy!
We have tire/rubber pieces - and they always end up in my dryer from pockets! Ugh.
