She's doing all that she's suppose to do. We discovered on the 4th of January that she could sit up on her own for a prolonged period of time. Every day she's getting more and more stable on her bum. She'll down sit on the floor for a good spell and grab for toys, transferring them from one hand to another.
When Anna gets excited she will kick her legs out and pump her arms. When you're holding her you have to wrap your arm all the way around her chest and hang on tight or she'll rocket right out of your arms. Sunday evening the kids suggested we try putting her in the Johnny Jump-up. It needed a little TLC. The last time it hung in the middle of the house was when Alex was Anna's age. Sam decided to experiment with a pair of scissors, and cut two of the four straps. Thankfully some royal blue thread and a very tight zig-zag stitch restored the Johnny Jump-up to it's previous glory.
She's still a bit small for it, she loves the sensation of hanging and being able to watch all the happenings of the house.
Alex helping Anna learn to jump ... The camera caught Anna's surprised expression of being "bounced" making her look more terrified than surprised. Truly, she was quite calm while each of her siblings tried various teaching techniques on her.

what a beautiful family you and GR have!!
This kid is going to be in college and I'm still going to think, "Isn't she just a baby?" She is growing fast and she is so lucky to have such great brothers and sisters! Oh and mom and dad too!
She's cute as can be!
Anna is absolutely beautiful, as are all of your kiddos.
