For this evenings FHE we pulled out the Tinker Toys - one of Emily's Christmas gifts - and made a couple of different objects. I made a race car and motorcycle with Sam and the girls. They helped GR make a crane while I made cookies for a treat. Everyone really had a fun time. The crane took so many pieces we had to disassemble everything and make piles of all the different pieces to make the process easier and more kid helper friendly.

are you sure it is GR helping the kids or the kids helping GR?
Okay so you're right... it was the kids helping GR... they were his part lackies... Emily I need three green sticks, Sam I need 4 yellow discs...
