Health and well being update

Mom and Dad - Friday night we got a full nights sleep, but I think that might have been the last one. Maybe the toddler bed wasn't such a great idea after all. So far, no pink eye and no runny noses for us adults, although my left eye is feeling a bit suspicious...

Rebecca - Her eye looks beaufitul! It's still gets a tad runny now and again, but no goop and no redness. Saturday she started to develop a cold - a runny nose to be exact. We're working on helping her understand that tissues can be used again and again, using a series of turns and folds - she's not buying it. One blow per tissue.

Sunday we kept her home from church and home from school again yesterday. Today her cough wasn't as constant and her nose seems to have dried up, although her upper lip looks like a dry creek bed. And her energy level was better although not 100%.

Emily - Poor Emie woke up Monday morning with an ear ache. By 9:30 she was screaming and crying, so I gave her a dose of Tylonel and called the doctor who couldn't see her until 1:45. Of course by then her ear no longer hurt, but it was slightly infected so we have medication for that. Today she started on the sniffles and cough. Hopefully we can get her over all this before preschool starts on Friday.

Sam - Decided not to be shown up by his sisters and has followed suite today with a lovely runny nose that doesn't seem to be phased much by the medication I'm giving him. Plus he's quite tired and clingy. I'm thinking we'll give him a good dose of medication before bedtime so he'll hopefully get a better nights sleep.

Poor kids, looks like you guys have got quite a bio-weapons facility cooking up over there. I hope it clears up so you can all get some good rest.

Danielle and Stella must be having sympathy pains.

Stella's got nose goop, and Danielle's left eye is all watery . . . at least it isn't anything fatal.

i'm surprised that i'm not afflicted with all kinds of ailments since working in a doctor's office. seems like we get at least 5 people a day with sinusitis.
