Sam and his buddy George are doing cub scouts together, and tonight they had pack meeting and then a lock in with games and projects, etc. They were both really excited about it and Sam came home talking 90mphs about all the cool things he did ... and he came home with a cookie!
Sam and George have been good friends since they were toddlers, they are in the same church class and finally, the same school class. Since we opted to let Sam do cub scouts through the school troop, instead of waiting two more years to do it through church, I'm glad he's got a church buddy there too. I have no idea how this is all going to play out as he get's older, but he's enjoying it now, he's got a really good group of boys and parents, plus it's something he does with his dad, and we need all of those we can get.
